Thornton Wilder

Thornton Wilder (1897-1975) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American writer whose best-known works are the novel The Bridge of San Luis Rey (1927) and the innovative plays Our Town (1938), The Skin of Our Teeth (1942), and The Matchmaker (1954).
